Fine Arts Event

For my fine arts event, I attended the B.o.b. concert on September 20th. It was mediocre at best. I was not that impressed, but it was free so I will not complain. I am excited to see LMFAO in the spring though. It will be much better than this one.

Athletic Event

For my required athletic event, I attended the first TTU home game of the season. We dominated Maryville. It was not even a close game. Most people left by halftime, but I had to stay the whole time because I was there for the experience.

Thanksgiving

This year has been different than any other year for me. This year I am very thankful for Tennessee Tech. I am thankful for being able to attend school here, and I am even more thankful for my parents who have made it possible for me to spend time at this school. I am thankful for my situation in life at this time.

Group Lecture DSM

When I went to the DSM group lecture, I expected to not learn much of anything. Once the speaker began to inform us on some of the possible Decision Science majors, it made me really think about majoring in Finance. Is that really what I want to do? I think a management job might better suit me. I'm even considering changing my major to a DSM major.

Group Lecture Finance, Economics, Marketing

I went to the lecture session for finance majors. I personally did not think I would even learn much from the Economics or Marketing part of the lecture, but surprisingly, I did. I am aspiring to be a Finance major, but there are other possibilities. Overall, the lecture was very helpful in giving me direction in my future at Tennessee Tech.
